1991
Chagall is Founded
A clear vision: transforming commercial environments through design and innovation.
From the very beginning, we believed that every space can become a driver of experience and performance. With creativity and precision, we continuously strive to design environments that inspire, enhance brands, and adapt to the realities of tomorrow.
1992
Chagall Moves Into Its First Offices
Opening of our first offices on Boulay Street in Beloeil. Shortly after, we secured our first commercial mandate: a renovation project that was soon followed by an expansion, paving the way for more design and millwork contracts.
1997
First Client in the Food Sector
Our first mandate in the food sector: a design collaboration to create a new concept for the renovation of a supermarket. This project highlighted our ability to imagine large-scale environments and positioned us in a new market.
2004
A New Headquarters Reflecting Chagall’s Identity
Our third move for both the head office and the factory, into a building designed to reflect Chagall’s brand and to support our growth ambitions. Nearby, a second facility was dedicated to distribution, strengthening the efficiency of our custom manufacturing operations.
2007
A Landmark in Sustainable Development
Completion of our very first LEED-certified project with IGA St-Pascal de Kamouraska. This store also became the first LEED-certified supermarket in Canada, positioning Chagall as a pioneer in sustainable development within the food sector.
2011
International Recognition in Design
Chagall shined on the international stage by winning the Best Retail Interior Award at the International Property Awards in London. The Jean Coutu project in Montreal stood out for its innovative design and marked an international breakthrough for the company.
2015
An Integrated Offer to Better Serve Our Clients
To better respond to our clients’ needs, we launched the Chagall 360° Offer: a turnkey solution that combines creativity, technical expertise, and strategic project management. This integrated approach reinforced our role as a complete partner for our clients.
